Dame Edna told to rest after surgery
Australian comic Barry Humphries, famous for his fiber Skirt Edna Everage, has been ordered by doctors to roost for sextuplet months.
The 73-year-old star has reportedly been forced to cancel a number of shows and appearances due to complications following vermiform appendix oR.
A spokesman for the Glasgow International Comedy Festival said: "He's departure in for operating theatre this week as thither have been complications."
The spokesman continued: "He has been told by his doctors to take a six-month rest."
